I tried enabling the camera module from raspi-config with no changes in the outcome. ![]() Some where I found following command vcgencmd getcamera which gives: supported1 detected0. The relevant boot configuration setting is "BOOT_ORDER=0xf41" - this means to try the SD card first (the "1"), then USB (the "4"), then to repeat (the "f"). Also, lsusb command does not list the device. If you've got time to investigate you could go through the process of enabling USB boot mode in the EEPROM - this will cause the EEPROM to enable PCIe and give you independent confirmation that something isn't right. You can try removing the USB devices - some have been known to back-power the Pi and cause a variety of problems. This indicates that the PCIe controller can't see the VL805 USB controller, which gives us no way of talking to it, hence no USB devices. I'm stumped, can you give me some suggestions for things to try?Ĭode: Select all brcm-pcie fd500000.pcie: link down Reviewing dmesg after a reboot, it's like the system never starts up the USB controller. Using raspi-config, I then set it to Overlay File System and Read-Only Boot, which is how I usually leave the RPi running. Okay, so then I ran updates, everything is still fine. ![]() So I restored an earlier image from when everything was working. I removed the SD card and ran a utility on my Windows machine to read-write-compare each sector, came back clean. I'm using a 3A USB power supply which was also working fine for months. I have a UPS and a thumb drive plugged into the RPi USB ports, they were both working fine for months previously, and seem to work fine on my Windows PC. Running dmesg -C and then unplugging and replugging my devices returns nothing. Lsusb command not found install#You dont need disk 2 but you use yum to install packages from it. Lsusb command not found how to#The elrepo site has instructions on how to find the driver you need and how to install it. You need to have the pciutils and usbutils packages installed. I'm having a weird problem where my USB ports will stop working. You need to be root to run lsusb and lspci. ![]()
